New Kimpton secret password to unlock bonus treats at hotels this summer
Kimpton is back with its secret password. Remember this during your next Kimpton stay, and you’ll thank us later.
A few times per year, IHG’s most social and playful brand issues a secret password for guests to earn freebies during their hotel stays. All you have to do is say the secret password “social sent me” at check-in during Kimpton stays between now and Aug. 31.
Saying those magic words can unlock all kinds of complimentary goodies. Previous Kimpton social password prizes have included:
- Complimentary parking
- Branded coffee mugs
- Two drinks at the on-site bar
- A doubled “Raid the Bar” credit
- Room upgrades
- $30 dining credits
- Breakfast vouchers
- Hot chocolate kits
- IHG One Rewards points
Anyone can use the secret password. IHG One Rewards Platinum and Diamond Elite members can also use the Raid the Bar benefit; with it, Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite members receive a $10 and $20 credit, respectively, for use in the Kimpton in-room minibar, hotel bar or restaurant.
If you don’t have status with IHG and are looking for a quick way to get there while earning points to plan your next Kimpton stay, consider applying for the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card (see rates and fees). With this card, you’ll earn 140,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. You’ll also receive automatic IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status, every fourth reward night free on stays of at least four nights when you redeem points and an anniversary night worth up to 40,000 points after every account anniversary.
